Quick fixes
Daily reminder
Turn Daily reminder off and on in Settings. If it remains silent, allow notifications in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Man of the Word.
A practice looks missing
Confirm the iPhone date and time zone are correct. The seven-day record follows local calendar days rather than a rolling 24-hour timer.
A share card omits text
That is expected for private notes and review details. Outbound cards omit private fields by default and always show a preview before the native share sheet.
Plus purchases
Open Settings → Man of the Word Plus → Restore Purchases. The app trusts Apple-verified transactions on the device. RevenueCat may synchronize the same entitlement, but it cannot remove access that Apple still verifies.
- Prices and billing periods come from the App Store for your storefront.
- There is no launch trial, weekly plan, or lifetime package.
- Manage or cancel an active subscription in Apple subscription settings.
- Apple handles billing and refunds. Use Report a Problem for a refund request.
Your local data
Export a readable copy from Settings → Export my data. To remove practices, reviews, Bible bookmarks, reading position, and reminders from the device, choose Settings → Delete local data.
Deletion is permanent on that device. The app does not currently maintain a cloud account or remote backup that can recover deleted formation data.
Current limits
Private Brother is a documented preview, not an active messaging service. No invitation, identity, or accountability message leaves the device. It will remain disabled until consent, revocation, deletion, abuse handling, and an approved threat model are implemented.
The app is for Scripture-rooted daily formation. It is not emergency, medical, mental-health, addiction-treatment, legal, or pastoral crisis care. Contact local emergency services or a qualified person when immediate help is needed.
Send a useful report
Include what you expected, what happened, your app version, iOS version, and a screenshot if it does not expose sensitive information. Please do not send prayers, integrity details, family information, or private notes unless they are necessary to solve the issue.
